a few more Kaisercraft projects...

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I was not productive last weekend because my work schedule was changed, Monday- Saturday. Now, I have to spend my Sundays with my family. We went to the mall, attended Hannah's last Fashion Show practice, went to mass and had a nice dinner at home. It was short but we had so much fun together.

Even though I wasn't able to scrap last weekend, I have a few Kaisercraft projects to share with you all. These are Holiday projects that I did for Kaisercraft's Holiday line released this month.

“Got this from Mom & Dad last Christmas” layout by LG Belarmino – Kaisercraft Be Merry paper collection (P558), 6×6 paper pad (PP829), Die Cut Elements (DC325), Rub Ons (RB876 and RB875), and Printed Chipboard (CB114). Core Product: Mini Alpha Stickers (MA502) and Tiny Alpha Sticker (MA510). Kaisercraft Rhinestones (Green and Red) and Chipboard Alpha. Others: glitter, gold foil alpha from local bookstore, and punches.

"Christmas Gift Tag Set"by LG Belarmino- 'Tis the Season Rub on (RB878), Clear Stamps (CS760 and CS761), Papeer Tags & Shapes Raw (EM925) and Ink pads Lipstick (IP714) Black (IP707)
I adore these core products! It allowed me to create my personalized gift tags that I can use during the holiday season. It was very easy and convenient to use.

"Tis the Season to be Jolly" layout by LG Belarmino - Kaisercraft 'Tis the Season Collection: Choir patterned paper (P563), Reindeer specialty paper (P5116), 6x6 Paper Pad (PP830), Embellishment Pack epoxy stickers (EM922), Mini Journal Tags (JT606), Mini Alphas (MA508), Be Merry 6x6 Paper Pad (PP829), Pearls Latte (SB715) and Red (SB795), Grosgrain Ribbon Lovely (RI605), and Hanging Flourish Tree (FL311). Others: Kraft cardstock and twine

Stay tuned for more since I have so many projects planned for October. My MME Guest Designer box has arrived,  Kaisercraft and Pebbles boxes are on their way, My Scrapbook Nook and ScrapThat kit will be arriving very soon and I will pick up my YSS box later.

Thanks for dropping by!

Nook U is still in session!

There are just a couple more classes before finals week next week & I am so inspired with all the student's entries.

It was my turn to post my class yesterday and I have already seen some projects the students have made.

Mine is Advertising Design Class and the assignment is an altered project. For more details, click here. Here was my example:

This was an old simple plastic container I found at my kitchen. I used the Nook September Kit to give this box some personality.

Be Merry in September

WOW this has been a busy week for me. I have been scrapping daily trying to finish all my obligations this month. I have finished most of them and just need to do 2 more layouts. I am also thrilled to be guest designing for my good friend's new challenge blog, Get Picky. I have been invited by Tanya Tahir to be their guest DT next month. I am so excited!

For today, I would like to share with you a layout that I did using the Be Merry line by Kaisercraft. This line is one of the 2 Christmas Collection released this month. I love the colors and the patterns that came with this.

Loving our new Die Cut and Specialty papers!

Then there’s all the usual’s like rubons, die cut elements, paper pad and clear stamps!! See the whole collection here!

Here is my layout:
“Be Merry” layout by LG Belarmino – Be Merry Collection: Patterned papers Cheer (P558), Delight (P561), and Happy (P560). 6×6 paper pad (PP829). Printed Chipboard (CB114). Die cut elements (DC325). Mini Alphas (MA508). Others: Twine, glitter, and punches.

Here are the blogs you need to visit this week:

For today, I would kickoff with a layout that I made this weekend using Echo Park's Life is Good line and some Shimmerz Paints all available at YSS Online Store.

I made this layout to showcase how fun and spontaneous Shimmerz paints are. By simply spraying, dropping, splattering on a paper, you can create a very artistic and cool design. On this page, I have used Shimmerz Vibez Pop Art Pink, a cotton candy pink with a HUGE gold shimmer to it, and Pearlz Blue by You. These colors are perfect for the Echo Park line.

There are no accidents when we talk about creativity. Just let go and don't be afraid of messing up your page. Shimmerz paints are so easy to work with. On this layout, I initially just sprayed some Pop Art Pink randomly on my page to add the gold-pinking shimmer that I want and added a lot of paint drops using Blue by You.

Nook Layout (part 2)

Just a quick post today since my head really hurts from lack of sleep and too much work. I think I slept for only 3hours yesterday and have to work for 10hours. It was really exhausting so I am about to go to bed now and leave you with another layout using the gorgeous Nook September kit.

"Funny Girl" layout by LG Belarmino - My Scrapbook Nook September Kit: Crate Paper Restoration paper line, layered chipboards, brads, and Stickers. Others: AC Thickers from my stash, corrugated board, paint and Martha Stewart's butterfly punch.

I tried making this layout pretty simple, different from what I am used to do. The placement was quite awkward to my usual linear style but I love how everything turned out. Sometimes it is okay to limit the embellishments to highlight the photo more. My niece's photo is so cute and I want it to be the focal point of the entire design.

Thanks for dropping by!

Nook Layout (part 1)

Happy Tuesday!

It was the other day that I mentioned I have so much catching up to do with my scrapbooking and luckily out of all those assignments, I managed to finish 6 layouts already. I have a lot more to go but I am pretty sure that it will be achievable by next week.

It was indeed a great feeling. I have missed it so much after what happened to me and my family. The depression was so hard but I knew that scrapbooking will be a great therapy, and it was. I love spending hours on a page. Adding details, a lot of intricate work and playing with gorgeous products. The hours I spent just hand cutting some patterns helps me relax and keeps me at peace.

With this layout I am about to show you, I spent nearly 5 long hours doing it. The design is simple but the hand cutting took forever. I just love the border and flower patterns that came with some of Crate Paper's Restoration line. I spent hours cutting all of it, every single detail. I am so glad that this collection is My Scrapbook Nook's September kit.

"Delightful" layout by LG Belarmino- My Scrapbook Nook September Kit: Crate Paper Restoration paper line, layered chipboards, brads, and Stickers. Others: AC Thickers from my stash and Martha Stewart's butterfly punch.

The photo I have used used on this page was taken last month. I love her cute little expression here. She is looks very delightful hence the title. Like scrapbooking, she is definitely one of those person I look forward seeing everyday. She makes all my problems go away and makes everything alright.

Thanks for dropping by! Don't forget to check out this gorgeous kit from one of the best scrapbook kit clubs.
