Seaside Collection by Kaisercraft

The Seaside collection is full of  gorgeous, summery colours and is perfect for scrapping our summer memories.  Cool blue, yellow and red feature predominately along with images associated with summery, tropical fun including hibiscus flowers, boat sheds and surfboards.    There is also a new addition of Canvas Tags and Printed Tickets which add extra variety to the embellishment choice.

I love the vibrant and bold colours of this line. All the red, yellow and blue creates a warm feel to it. It is perfect for this photo of my mom, dad and my daughter taken last year.

My Mom's Name is ROSE

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. As for me, I had an amazing time with my dd, my nephews and my cute niece. We went to the amusement park last Friday and had a wonderful time.

Today, I want to share with you a layout that I did using Kaisercraft's new collection - English Rose. This collection is divine. Every bit and piece of this collection is gorgeous. I highly recommend you get the entire collection. This line is definitely a must have!

On this layout, the English Rose collection was a perfect match to the photo I have used. This is a photo of my daughter with my mom. Aside from the given that I have scrapped a female photo with this feminine line, my mom’s name is “Rose.”

 I had so much fun with the clear stamps that came with this collection. I initially stamped the rose image using a black ink and painted the image using Shimmerz paints.

These are the moments . . .

Happy Wednesday!!!

Tomorrow, my US friends are celebrating Thanksgiving. I am pretty sure that they are all busy preparing for this important event. Even if some of us do not celebrate this holiday, all of us are grateful for many things and blessings in our lives.

Like today, I am thankful for another day. Waking up every morning gives me the privilege of spending time with my family, work for my dreams and hope for a better future. Everyday allows me to become a better person. It shows me the value of each moment may it be big or small.

In this layout, I acknowledged  the value of regular everyday moments. That these are the moments I look forward everyday, that these are the moments worth remembering, that these are the moments I live for. I made this layout using the beautiful My Scrapbook Nook November kit which is perfect for my theme.

The bold colors of this collection conveys the message I was trying to say. The contrast and the patterns were perfect in every way giving me the flexibility to layer the elements in any way.

I have also used the negative of my punched butterflies on my layout and handstitched on it.

We were requested this month to create a layout showcasing MME's trims and here's what I came up with:

"Happily Ever After" layout by LG Belarmino - My minds Eye Lost and Found collection

A few months ago I bought my 2 year old a cute tutu skirt. I love how the tulle were layered together creating volume and dimension. Inspired by this, I used some of MME's Madison Avenue's trim to create the same effect. I applied the layering on the mannequin doll design that came with "Pretty" Dress Shop glittered paper. It was perfect! I also used the brown trim to stitch over the punched border that I added.
