Loving the Random Collection

First of all I would like to thank everyone for their concern for my little darling Hannah. She is responding to all the medications given to her. We will be visiting her Pediatrician tomorrow and hoping for good news.

Anyway, here is another quick page that I made using the September kit from My Scrapbook Nook featuring Crate's Random Collection:

I have been loving the minimalistic approach lately and I find the process so much fun. Here, I literally did a random placement of all the elements in this page. Layering upon layering of papers and embellishments have been an ideal process to me lately with my busy schedule.

The process was so much quicker and easy. No wonder I can see this trend blooming in the industry lately. The result is fantastic and i feel much free on designing my page. I see myself doing this more often from now on.

Oh I can't believe it will be October this Saturday, September was fast and I only have a few post this month. A lot has been going on with work and my family that is why I have been MIA this month as well.

Like today, we went to Hannah's pediatrician because she is having this colds and cough since last week. She was diagnosed to have a community acquired pneumonia. Poor baby. It is very hard for her because she still doesn't know how to cough out the phlegm and she needs the antibiotics to help her out. Hoping that those 5 medicines prescribed for her will help her get well real soon.

I love to see my daughter smile and have fun outdoors like in this layout that I did using the September Nook kit:

She was enjoying an afternoon swim in our backyard on this photos. She loves to swim but now she can't do it because of the pneumonia that she might have gotten from school. Poor thing.

Anyway, I got the inspiration from the September Sketch by my co-DT Jessy at the Nook. The photos have been printed a long time ago and was perfect for the sketch. You can see the sketch and the other gorgeous examples here.

Here are a few details of this layout:

Thanks for dropping by!

Color Combo Galore Palette 209

 My take:

Tried something fun and different to this page. I added stamping, a few drops of paint and very minimal elements. I love the artsy look at the end. I was very much inspired by Lilith's negative space layouts, she's awesome with it!
