Another Echo Park layout

Almost forgot to post this layout that I did using Scrapbook Circle's Vintage Market kit. I was so inspired with all the banners idea I see online that I finally decided to try it out.

Fun and Easy

It is not all the time that I can finish a layout in less than 1 hour. I tend to spend a lot of time thinking about colors, photos, placement and overall design. With this layout, I had so much fun that I finished it immediately. I played with my mists, stamps and Crate Paper's Neighborhood diecut chipboards.

Lifting

At Scrapbook Circle, we pay tribute to the members by simply lifting their gorgeous work twice a month. I was assigned to lift Debbie's layout submitted on our Facebook Fan page. Here is her layout:

Inspired by the design elements and color, I was able to create this simple layout using mostly the Printable file that came with the Hello Sunshine kit:

Having fun with mists and stamps

Lately I have been seeing a lot of layouts online using mists and stamps together. The uniqueness it brings on a layout is so beautiful that I decided to combine both techniques on my pages recently. Remember my recent Scrapbook Circle layout Meaningful Kiss? I have used these techniques and enjoyed it very much.

So here is another layout that I made using the new Hello Sunshine kit from Scrapbook Circle:

Family

Happy Monday everyone!!! I hope all of us had a lovely and relaxed weekend with friends and family. As for me, I took advantage of last weekend spending time with my dd and dh since I had a very busy week transitioning with my new job.

I just want to share this layout that I did using Scrapbook Circle's Vintage Market that I managed to finish last week. I love the range of patterned papers and embellishments from this kit. Definitely one of my favorite SC kit to date.

Have a productive and stress-free week everyone!

a great collaboration

Happy Saturday ladies! Today, I would like to share with you a layout that my dd and I made yesterday when I received my Scrapbook Circle Vintage Market kit. The combination of Crate Paper's Portrait and Echo Park's For the Record was perfect.

In this layout, Hannah assisted me by distressing the edges of the doilies (yup! she knows how to use my distress inks and the distresser tools), applying adhesive and pin-pointing where to adhere the elements of this page including the border stickers.

everything is from the Vintage Market kit except for the stamps and mists

It was fun making this layout with her. Even though it took longer than usual, I enjoyed every minute of it. I love the end result and I can definitely see a future scrapbooker in her!

it's time to weigh in

Another week has passed and here I am again giving you an update of my weight loss journey.

Just a recap, I started at 61kilos last February 7 (134lbs). Last week , Feb 16, I weighed in at 58.5kilos (129lbs). Today, I am at 56.5kilos (124lbs). Almost 5kilos in 15days. Not bad at all. I used to lose 5kilos in a week before but I am taking it slow because we are trying to get pregnant.

Here is a snapshot of my weigh in today:

I am also thrilled to let you know that I was able to create a layout using the photo I've shared last week. I rarely scrap my photos because my confidence got so low after I gained all this weight. But with this challenge, I can see myself scrapping more About Me Pages.

I have used Scrapbook Circle's February Kit "Happy Days." I just love the combination of papers and embellishments that came with the kit. It was so much fun to work with. Click here to read more about this fantastic kit!

Before we get started please make sure that you start at Jennie's blog. You should have came from Rebecca's blog before reaching here.

I would like to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Lady Grace Belarmino but everyone simply refers to me as "LG". I live in Manila, Philippines and have been married to Regie for 3 years. I am blessed to have a family who is very supportive of my craft to the point that they too, dabble with scrapbooking. We currently have one gorgeous 2 year old daughter Hannah, who serves as my model for most of my pages. I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and I Majored in Advertising Design.I currently work from home as a full-time Training Manager.

I started scrapbooking on December 2008, just a few months after my daughter was born. I was searching for the right hobby that incorporates my family and my passion for arts. It took me a few months of researching and reading about this hobby before I decided to give it a try. My first works were definitely a far cry from my current ones. It was the challenge of making a better layout that kept me going on. There was no looking back since then. I was hooked and I don't intend to stop. I have already created more than 400 layouts to date and it will continue to grow.

I started this hobby to preserve memories in an artistic way. It was not for fame or recognition, but simply for the joy and fulfillment that the craft brings. Being accepted in design teams, winning prizes, and being published are only additional perks. What I am really passionate about is telling MY FAMILY'S STORY in the best way I know how, and that is through scrapbooking.
