a boy layout

I rarely get the chance to scrap boy's layout since I only have a daughter. I always imagine that when I create a boy layout, it will be fun and random unlike most of my girl layouts (formal and planned). Like this one that I made a month ago (forgot to post this) of my nephew.

i had so much fun with the July kit making some girly layouts but never thought it would be as fun as creating a boy layout with those patterns. Here I have also used some leftover scraps from previous Nook kits.

Mix n' Match

Receiving gorgeous collections makes you want to keep even small leftovers which I did with my Pebbles DT stash. I love leftovers because it challenges me to try something different. Here, I was able to cut a few strips of patterned papers from small pieces leftovers from the Happy Go Lucky and Floral Lane lines. I was also able to use the strip labeling from some of the papers. By simply combining different sizes of strip papers, I was able to finish a quick and fun layout."
