Finally!!!

After a week long vacation I had some scrappy time yesterday. I have been longing to create some projects using the gorgeous Nook August Kit. I missed my package by one day last week before I left for vacation. I was planning to bring the kit with me but it came a day late. So you just cant imagine how excited I am when I got back home.

Let me tell you about this kit first.

Featuring cool blues and funky florals, you won't be sure if you should put on your favorite 50's style dress or grab your blanket and head to Woodstock! This brilliant mix of earthy meets feminine is sure to please your eye, as you make it work your way by mixing and matching our great embellishments!

Kit Contents:
Sassafrass Lass Indie Girl papers (2 each)
Indie Girl Banners
A handful of Coordinating Buttons
Jenni Bowlin pins
BoBunny Flowers
Indie Girl stickers
Indie Girl Glitter Alphabet in Chartreuse
Basic Grey Lace Ribbon (Paper)

It's perfect right? I am sure all of you loves Sassafrass Lass Indie Girl collection. With this paper line and some magic from Leah comes one of the best kit ever. Can you tell I really adore the August kit? LOL Well, despite not being able to use my kit last week, I still have it in mind and took some inspiration from it. I was able to take several photos of my DD that would be perfect for the colors on the kit.

I really had so much fun with Hannah while taking these photos. She really looks so adorable with that tutu.

"Tutu Princess" by LG Belarmino - My Scrapbook Nook August kit featuring Sassafrass Indie Girl Collection

This layout was pretty easy to do. It took me at least an hour and a half to finish it because this kit scraps itself. The embellishments that came with the kit is perfect and well coordinated. The color palette is one of my favorites and the borders on the Sass papers are so cute.

Thank you for dropping by! And watch out for the announcement of the NEW DT MEMBERS for the next term. There are so many talented ladies who applied, me included, and Im so excited who'll be the next batch to represent My Scrapbook Nook.
