September 26, 2011

Oh I can't believe it will be October this Saturday, September was fast and I only have a few post this month. A lot has been going on with work and my family that is why I have been MIA this month as well.

Like today, we went to Hannah's pediatrician because she is having this colds and cough since last week. She was diagnosed to have a community acquired pneumonia. Poor baby. It is very hard for her because she still doesn't know how to cough out the phlegm and she needs the antibiotics to help her out. Hoping that those 5 medicines prescribed for her will help her get well real soon.

I love to see my daughter smile and have fun outdoors like in this layout that I did using the September Nook kit:

She was enjoying an afternoon swim in our backyard on this photos. She loves to swim but now she can't do it because of the pneumonia that she might have gotten from school. Poor thing.

Anyway, I got the inspiration from the September Sketch by my co-DT Jessy at the Nook. The photos have been printed a long time ago and was perfect for the sketch. You can see the sketch and the other gorgeous examples here.

Here are a few details of this layout:

Thanks for dropping by!

Love the misted number background and especially the cluster of embellishments in the top left circle...plus, WHAT is that gorgeous teal-colored glossy paint/ink that you splattered onto the page?! It looks awesome, love the dimension and wet-shine look of it!

Thanks so much for the Glimmer Glaze info, LG! I've done that before with Saffron glaze, but the Emerald Cove looks so much cooler, I NEED some now, lol! :) Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
