Scraptastic Club Anniversary Blog Hop!

Welcome to Scraptastic Club Anniversary Hop! I am so excited to see you all here!. Before we get started please make sure that you started at Scraptastic Club Blog. You should have come from Juliann's blog before reaching me here.

I am LG Belarmino, scrappbooker from the Philippines. I am one of the new Design Team member of Scraptastic Club. I am so thrilled to be part of this amazing Kit Club. I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts Major in Advertising Design. I am married to my very supportive husband, Regie for 5 years now and a mother to a gorgeous 4 year old baby girl, Hannah, my precious model. I started scrapbooking almost 4 years ago, a few months after I gave birth to my daughter. I decided to enter into scrapbooking to preserve my family's memories and to express my creative side.

My style differs from one layout to the other. I love experimenting and trying out new techniques as I create a page. I am into handcutting, misting, distressing, photo editing and layering.

Baby Bubwit

I am very blessed to have a beautiful baby girl. Our nickname for her is Bubwit, our local term for mice, because she was born in the year of the rat.

For this layout, I focused on adjectives that starts with the letter "B" and used lots and lots of banners by BasicGrey Clippings line. Unfortunately I dont have my Scraptastic kit yet because I just got invited to join the team just recently. Surely, I am very excited to play with next month's kit.

Let me tell you about Scraptastic Club Kits. Scraptastic Club is a monthly scrapbooking kit club. You do not have to be a member to purchase and enjoy our kits. The kits are loaded with the latest and greatest products in the scrapping industry, always balanced and creatively designed to help you in your creative journey!  We do offer non-commitment monthly subscriptions, check out our website for all the details here. Every month we offer 2 different kits with there own coordinating add-on for you to choose from. The newest addition to the kit line-up is the monthly stamp add-on.

Here are the sneaks of the 2 kits to choose from this September:

One random winner from those that unscrambled the correct word will be drawn to receive a 3 month subscription of the Scraptastic Club kits ;) BUT WAIT!!!! Want another chance of winning a 3 month subscription, this is what you have to do:

Tell all of your scrappy friends to follow us on Facebook, have them post on our wall who sent them over, once we reach 1500 fans we'll pick one lucky winner to receive a free 3 month subscription. Sound good? Just Waiting

Hi everyone! I am here to post another project that I did using Imaginarium Design chipboard.

Products Used: BasicGrey Patterned Papers and embellishments, Kaisercraft tag, Pebbles Inc brad, Acrylic Paint, October Afternoon Mists and Twine

Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
Clock Face (3 inch) (IDS0006)

The chipboard was painted with two colours here, white and teal. I blended them together with a sponge and just used dumping technique overlapping each colour in several application.

You can also drop by at our Ning community here to get inspiration from the ID Design Team and other members using the gorgeous Imaginarium chipboard.

Webster Layout

Last July I was invited to guest design for Webster Pages. This layout is a combination of both collection that I received, Girl Land and Everyday Poetry. I decided to make a playful design because my inspiration came from the photos. I have made my own background design using mists, stamps, and masking. I love the idea that both collections can be combined but still look cohesive.

This layout was also inspired by the class I am taking at Big Picture Classes by Nic Howard. She provided lots of ideas in creating a personalized background.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving some love!

Where did I go?

Was there a time that you feel overwhelmed with this hobby? I did. It has been a few months that I have to put my scrapbooking hobby to a halt because of work and summer vacation. Then when I was ready to go back, I can't find Mr. Mojo.

I decided to stay away from my blog and some online communities because I wanted to enjoy this hobby. I don't want to feel the pressure of creating, what people think nor the need to get approval from others.

Thank goodness to online classes. I signed up to Nic Howard’s online class that inspired this layout and helped me get my mojo back. We were instructed to use chipboards and of course I used the gorgeous Imaginarium chipboards because they are perfect for any design I wanted to achieve. Now, I have been creating quite regularly and I am happy.

Beauty

Products Used: Webster Pages and Pink Paislee patterned papers, Ranger Distress Inks, Gesso Acrylic Paint, Shimmerz Pearlz and Kraft Cardstock.

Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
Flourish 1 (IDFL0001)
9 Cogs on board (IDS0018)
Steampunk Clock (IDT0016)

Altering Imaginarium chipboards are very easy. I am sure you have seen a lot of techniques used by the amazing Design Team here. This time around, it was my little 4yr old (the girl in the photo) that altered all the chipboards I have used for this layout.

The three shape chipboards were stamped with 2 different colours of distressed inks. Then, it was randomly painted with white paint on some of the edges. While the word “Beauty” was initially painted with white then coated with yellow Shimmerz Pearlz.
