LOVE from Shazz!

TGIF!!!!

I am very honored and blessed to have met a very dear friend online for the past several months, Shaz. She is a very talented scrapper from Australia, a loving wife to Baz, a wonderful mother to Kirrily and Jeffrey, and a great friend for many.

I would like to invite you all to her blog because her blog "CreativeMe68" is celebrating its 1st year birthday on May 22 and she is celebrating it with a BLAST for almost the entire month of May. There will be tons of fun that she prepared for all of us and will be giving away some great prizes. Most of all, you will get the chance to to know her more.

Also, one way of showing her appreciation to all her friends and supporters, Shaz gives away RAKs monthly via random draw from all the comments she receives from her blog. So who do you think the lucky winner is for the month of April????

Thank you Shaz for this precious gift but for me, the greatest gift is having you as my friend. You have always been there for me since we've met online, cheering me up, giving me great advises, and always there to listen. More power to you and your blog. Happy 1st Blog Birthday! Wishing you great health and a lot of scrapping supplies :P. Love yah

A2Z Scraplet Blind Challenge Reveal!

Good day!!!

I have posted several days ago that I took part of A2Z Scraplet's Blind Challenge for April. The details can be found here.

What I did initially was to interpret the Instructions into a sketch to make sure I know the placement of every materials. The Instructions can be read here while here is my sketch interpretation:

To make sure about my interpretation, I asked my OBFF (Online BFF), Tessah, to interpret it also. We actually made our entries at the same time while chatting online. We consulted each other, criticized each others work, and provide some advises as needed. We really enjoyed every minute of it but of course, the creation part took longer because we were chatting as well.

Finally, after the long wait, the REVEAL is up. Here is my take:

Title: Daughter

Journal: " Those tiny hands, those small feet, those cute button nose. They are all so adorable. I can never imagine you growing up so fast. If only you can be a baby forever and always be mine, I will keep you safe in my arms."

Material's Used: Assorted PPs (lost my list), A2Z Daughter and Kisses Frame Scraplet, Kaiser Pearls, Stickles, 7 gypsies Journal Card, Flower from local store, Brown Cardstock and Doodlebug Oh My Words

And I also want to share my OBFF Tessah's Entry:

I just love the color she used for this LO. The embellishment layering and cluttering is superb. Love it!!!

Thank you A2Z Scraplet for this very exciting challenge. Feel free to visit their site to view the other amazing entries, click here.

Thanks for viewing!

Creative Scrapper's 1hr LO Contest

Good day to you all but not so good to me!

Despite having a fever and a flu, I am still looking forward to scrap all day. Scrapping is one of my passion now and having to scrap to inspire others is a great honor for me. That is what a DT Member is all about.

I know I have lots of deadlines but I always enjoy making LOs for challenges, for crops and for random contests. Like early today, I almost forgot about the 1hr Sketch LO Contest over at Creative Scrappers Forum. Luckily, I was able to read Kristine's email reminder.

Having to work for an hour for this LO is a great challenge for me since I am a slow scrapper. I have read Kristine's email around 9:16pm EST and the contest will end at 10pm EST.

Working so fast, no photos printed, no pps chosen, I grabbed the first pack on my table from ScrapAttack. I printed my photo then on with scrapping. I was so happy to finish my entry at 9:50pm EST, giving me enough time to upload my work.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my entry:

Title: So Cool

Journaling:
"nothing can be more adorable than seeing you wearing my stuff. This is way too cool darlin'"

Materials Used: Sassafras Lass pps

This is just a simple LO finished in less than 30minutes. I did it!!! I love these 1hr Sketch Contest at CS always. I always have fun and the sketches are very easy to work with. Thanks Kristine! Happy Birthday to CS again!

But......

You think its a great ending...

NO....

The unthinkable happened, while uploading my LO, I lost my internet connection. I wasn't able to submit my LO on time because my connection went back on at 10:27pm EST. What a luck, right?

Oh well, what's important is I was able to participate to this amazing event and created another cool LO.

Till next time sweeties

A Card!

Good day to you all!

Since yesterday, my mojo left me without letting me know. So for the past 2 days, I do not feel like scrappin. It sucks because I know I wanted too.

So for today, still in search of my mojo, I decided to create a simple card. I am not a cardmaker and I am not planning to be one but just to try something new, I made this card in less than 10mins. It turned out okay I guess because I kinda like it.

The inspiration from this card came from SOCK's Challenge #1:

(to use this photo as my inspiration)

Here is my take:

Materials Used:
Creative Imaginations Narratives - Renaissance pp
My Minds Eye Adorable Dots pp
Felt
American Craft's Poolside Thickers

Thank you Deanne for this great challenge, she's the challenge setter for this one. I really enjoyed this challenge. Hope you like it!

Later! Need to look for my mojo still

Being Published!!!

Happy Easter!!!!

When I woke up this morning, I was greeted with a great blessing when I read from my email that 2 of my LOs will be published this April at Scrapbook News and Reviews. This is actually my first time to be published in a magazine since I started scrapping last October 2008.

Little Doll:

Boracay:

I am very thrilled and excited and don't know what to say but for sure, I would like to thank all of you for all your continuous support and encouragements. All of you have been part of my journey following my passion in scrapbooking.

THANK YOU!

Before I end this post, I also have received an exclusive invitation to join the Congo Line.

Basically when you receive an invitation to join you add the image as a sidebar picture widget and then link the image to the one person who's blog you want to be next in line.
Rules: - You can only join the line if you are invited - You can only pass it on to one person - Lets make the longest conga line in the world!! (wouldn't it be cool if it went all over the world and back??) - Make sure you follow through until the person you invite has added it to their blog otherwise the chain will be broken and it won't work - If you receive an invitation and don't want to be in the line then kindly let the person know who sent it to you so they can invite someone else. We are really excited to see where this will end up!

I will forward the next invitation to Janis - Her blog: The Reluctant Scrapper
