Addicted to storage BTPs

I know we have shared a lot of projects showcasing the storage BTPs from Kaisercraft. With all these amazing items to help us organize our scrappy items, who can resist it? The great thing about these BTPs is you can personalized them using your favourite collections.

Here I have used the gorgeous Chanteuse collection with those beautiful paper blooms:

Materials:  Storage Unit (SB2105), Chanteuse patterned papers – Con Brio (P637), Soprano (P642), Tremolo (P639) Staccato (P638), Flourish Vine wood flourish (FL328),  Paper Blooms Dusty Pink (F641) and Sage (F632), Sage Acrylic Paint (KC025). Others: corrugated board and leaves.

To add texture, I decided to use a corrugated board that I took from a parcel box.

a special gift

I adore Kaisercraft’s Nine Frame Photo display. With the Bubble Gum Hills collection, I was able to make this personalized gift to my niece. The photos were as adorable as this beautiful line. I added dimension to create a 3D illusion. I am pretty sure that she will love this!

Altered Wreath

I have been saving this wreath for a few months now waiting for a bright coloured collection to use with it. When I received the Seaside collection, I immediately knew that I will finally be able to use the wreath. The colours and patterns of the Seaside papers are perfect! With a little improvising, I turned this regular wreath into a wall clock.

Wreath Clock by LG Belarmino – Kaisercraft BOP Funky Wreath (SB2077), Seaside double sided patterned papers, Homemade Rustic Recipe paper (P571) and deep yellow rhinestone  (SB712). Others: alpha and clock device.

To add the clock, I have used the cardboard packaging that came with the wreath and covered it with a brown patterned paper from the Homemade line released a few months ago.

12 Frame Photo Display and After 5

Love at first sight is my perfect description of what I felt when I got hold of this photo display. I immediately knew what to do with it. With the After 5 collection, it is a perfect match.
I decided to take advantage of the patterns and quote papers included in the After 5 collection. With a touch of colour, I was able to enhance my overall design. I chose the colour teal because the colour theme of our new house is black, grey, white and teal. I now have a perfect family photo frame for our living room .

Materials: 12 Frame Photo Display (SB2093), After 5 double sided pattern papers, 6×6 paper pad (PP833), Pearls (SB783), Black Pearl Flourishes (PL514), and Jade inkpad  (IP717)
Others: masking template, flowers, pen and butterfly

TGIF!

Good day to all of you!

I am so sorry for being so quiet for the past few days. I have been so busy scrapping and I forgot to update my blog. It has been raining here everyday and the weather makes everything perfect for some craft projects. I have finished 6 layouts, 2 cards and 1 altered project this week - plenty for me :D

For today, I want to share with you a very easy project that I made, a gift bag. I have a collection of brown paper bags of different sizes at home. I find them very useful and very convenient at all times. One of the good things about these paper bags is you can actually use it as a gift packaging. Just simply measure the body, adhere the patterned paper and add your embellishments. From a boring brown bag, you can create a beautiful, personalized gift bag.

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Merriment (751028)
Tree House 3x3 Cards (751024)
Red Ribbon (744029)

Other supplies used:
Brown paper bag

This project is on Pebbles blog today. Feel free to leave me a comment there. Click here.

Have a great weekend! Thanks for dropping by!

a few more Kaisercraft projects...

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I was not productive last weekend because my work schedule was changed, Monday- Saturday. Now, I have to spend my Sundays with my family. We went to the mall, attended Hannah's last Fashion Show practice, went to mass and had a nice dinner at home. It was short but we had so much fun together.

Even though I wasn't able to scrap last weekend, I have a few Kaisercraft projects to share with you all. These are Holiday projects that I did for Kaisercraft's Holiday line released this month.

I adore these core products! It allowed me to create my personalized gift tags that I can use during the holiday season. It was very easy and convenient to use.

Nook U is still in session!

There are just a couple more classes before finals week next week & I am so inspired with all the student's entries.

It was my turn to post my class yesterday and I have already seen some projects the students have made.

Mine is Advertising Design Class and the assignment is an altered project. For more details, click here. Here was my example:

This was an old simple plastic container I found at my kitchen. I used the Nook September Kit to give this box some personality.

Large Desk Organizer

It has only been less than 2years since I started this hobby so I really do not have the right storage or organizer of my stash. When I received this BOP from Kaisercraft, I was so excited! Now I have something I can call ‘The Perfect Storage’ for some buttons, stamp pads and blings. With the Secret Bird Society collection, I can achieve the vintage and grungy feel that I want for this organizer. The patterns, the colors and the texture is just right

“Large Desk organizer” BOP by LG Belarmino – Secret Bird Society paper collection, 6×6 paper pad (PP827), Die Cut Elements (DC323), Rub Ons (RB872), and Mini Journal Tags (JT603); Large Desk Organiser (SB2084); Kaisercraft Pearl Strips (PL505), Paper Flowers, Foam tape and Pearls.

Special thanks to my friend Cathy for the inspiration ;)

Kaisercraft’s NEW Pearl Brad & Lace Packs

Pearl Brads are available in 6 vintage colours – Pearl, Latte, Soft Blue, Pink Ice, Ice Green and Chocolate.

Kaisercraft has just released four mixed lace packs – available in four colours – white, natural shades, cream and black.

Each pack contains 5 different types of lace measuring 23 1/4 inches (60cm):
To see all the packs head here.

These little gems are awesome – and are the perfect additions’ to your scrap stash!

Here was something I made using the laces and the pearl brads:

My 2year old daughter just started attending school a month ago, I decided to alter one of her old headbands because I find the new Kaisercraft laces to be perfect for this project. The patterns and the texture is so amazing for a gorgeous and fun hair accessory.

“Altered Headband” project by LG Belarmino – Kaisercraft Lace Packs white (EM926) and cream (EM927), Pearl brads pink ice (EM932), Grosgrain ribbon Little Girls (RI602) and some Shimmerz paints.

To achieve a colored look for the lace, dip it or use a brush to add some Shimmerz Paint. By using the white lace, it will allow you to achieve the color you wanted. On my project, I have used some pink and yellow colors. Here is my daughter wearing this beautiful headband. She loves it so much!
