Two!!!

It is really amazing watching Hannah grow up. I just love my job right now because it allows me to be with her most of the time. I can experience each milestone with her, guide her and support her as she grows up.

That was my inspiration when I made this layout using SD4U June Kit featuring BasicGrey's Kioshi line. The softness of the colors on this kit motivated me to create something very sentimental to me.

Materials Used: SD4U June Kit - Kioshi
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Papers: BasicGrey Kioshi
Alpha: PinkPaislee
Diecut Sticker: BasicGrey Kioshi
Paint: Shimmerz Pearlz
Butterfly: Prima Marketing
Pins: Jenni Bowlin
Others: Fiskar Border Punch, Liquid Pearls, blings

Here are some details shot of this layout:

Flowers here are both handmade using patterned paper, Shimmerz Paint and Ribbons
Thanks for dropping by! Hope you had an amazing weekend!

My First Double Page Layout

I have tried my best to avoid this double pager since I started this hobby. It is not because it's hard to do but because I just think that when it is placed in an album, it will not really look like a complete spread. But for the sake of trying and to challenge myself to do something new, I made one using my ScrapbookDeals4U June Kit - Kioshi line.
This is a layout of me and my Scrappy BFF Cathy. The photos were taken late last year but I have forgotten to scrap it. It is always a fun experience scrapping with her and I thought the BG Kioshi line will be perfect for this fun photos.

Here are some of the details of this page:

When I embellish my page I often clutter them in one corner. Here I have combined several stickers, chipboards and the big Prima flower. I altered the flower by adding Shimmerz paints, stickles and Glossy accent to it. I added a few small drops of Glossy Accent to add some water droplets look on it, making the flower look fresh and realistic.

altered the chipboard flower here too by adding Liquid Pearls

Another OA Layout!!!!

At long last I will finally have my rest day this weekend. I have survived a 10 day, 10hour work schedule. Yipeeee!!! Despite all the stress, the lack of sleep and all the drama at home, I am just grateful that I did it. It will not be the last time since this work schedule will rotate every 5 weeks but for now I just want to have this opportunity to rest.

Even with my hectic schedule, I was able to manage to create a layout every other day. I have to sacrifice some sleep but it was okay because I accepted all my DT responsibilities knowing that this might happen.

I just want to share another layout that I did using Scrapbook Deals 4 U May Kit featuring October Afternoon's Thrift Shop line.

Photobucket

I really had fun doing this one. I got so used to with linear-blocking style that I forgot to just stick it on. I am the type of scrapper who plans everything, lay everything first before adhering them but on this one, I just kept cutting, punching and adhering.

Photobucket

I added my title on the opposite side to make it different. I first used some big alpha for masking the work "DREAM" and sprayed Shimmerz Spritz over it. Added the rest of the title vertically.

Photobucket

The flowers werealso painted using Shimmerz. It added a lot of sparkle and texture on it and I just love how my embellishments looks so different when using it. Try it out!

Thrift Shop with some Shimmerz!

Sharing another layout using the amazing May Thrift Shop kit from SD4U.

This layout features a photo of my 2yr old DD eating cake on her birthday last April 19, 2010 using her fingers. I initially edited the photo using Adobe Photoshop and added a filmstrip banner to it to match my current theme and color.

I am just loving the NEW Simmerz Pearlz!!!! It is vibrant and rich with shimmer. It gave each and every project a glow of magnificence. No need to reapply several times! One stroke of a brush will give you the color, the texture and the shimmer that you will definitely want to achieve!

For this layout, I have used both New Pearlz Sunny Side Up and This Spuds 4 U. The combination of this color is perfect for summer, vintage and fun projects.

Photobucket

I have used my SD4U May kit featuring October Afternoon's Thrift Shop line. I specifically chose the papers that has most yellows, browns and blacks in it since I am using a sepia photo.

Before adhering all my elements, I painted the middlepart of my background cardstock with Pearlz This Spuds 4U using a foam brush. Brushed the paint back and fort horizontally. Using a foam brush creates this visible pattern of broken lines so I painted some Pearlz Sunny Side Up on this spaces.

Just look how vibrant this NEW Pearlz colors are. This is a paper flower but with Pearlz Sunny Side Up added to it, it looks more sparkly and real. The paint added the personal touch I am aiming for. So try the NEW Pearlz NOW!!!!

It is so happy to see stuff like this especially during a very very busy and stressful week. I have been trying my best to fit everything with my current work schedule so that I can squeeze in everything, household chores, my baby and some scrapping time. I have so much to do but all of this are my responsibility so I am working very hard right now.

But seeing this already made everything worth it.

Aside from my #1 layout (layout from my SD4U May Kit, I have another layout on their top 10 list, my "Bloom" layout that I haven't posted here yet.

Photobucket

Erica, owner of YourScrapbookStash.com, sent me this My Minds Eye Quite Contrary - Little Miss Muffet line to work with. I adore MME and this made my life easier. Love the colors, the patterns and the texture of their papers. I was able to use this photos of Hannah that I never thought I would use for scrapping because it's kinda blurred. But it worked for this line!

Photobucket

Patterned Papers: MME Quite Contrary Little Miss Muffet
Journaling Spot: Elle Studio
Alpha: AC Thickers
Stamp: Cats Life Press Stamp - Leaf
Brads: BasicGrey
Others: Distress Ink and border punch

Photobucket

The leaves were stamped images using Cats Life Press Stamp (available at YSS Store) then cutout individually. Folded in half to add dimension. Try it out!!

Another October Afternoon Layout!!!

Just a quick post. Sharing another layout that I did using one of my favorite Manufacturer October Afternoon. This was made using Scrapbook Deals 4 U May Kit featuring the Thrift Shop line by OA. Their line is always so fun to use and ageless. You can create any projects for all season and you can do a boys layout, a girls layout, anything at all.

Here is an "About Me" page

Photobucket

Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Papers: October Afternoon Thrift Shop
Alpha: Scenic Route and October Afternoon Mini Sticker Alpha
Paint: Shimmerz Pearlz (Sunny Side Up and Espresso)
Stickers: October Afternoon Thrift Shop
Others: Ribbons, distress inks and EK Border Punch

I rarely scrap about myself since I am a first time mom and very much fascinated with my daughter. For this layout my theme was about capturing the moment. Seeing those cameras on the kit inspired me to create a subject around it.

I am the scrapper, photographer and the memory keeper. The person behind the scenes .

Photobucket

Background was randomly painted with Shimmerz and I tried to play with layering here.

Thanks for viewing!!!

Something different

Hi there! Happy weekend to all of you!!!

Lately I've been trying really hard to squeeze in some scrappy time despite my work schedule. I was able to create around 10 layouts last week and would love to share with you some that I did using Dear Lizzy line that I got from my DT kit at Scrapbook Deals 4 U.

This is quite different from what I am used too. I rarely do pastel colors as you have noticed. I just love color so much and all those earth tones. For this layout, i admit that I struggled a bit but after a few try, I kinda love using pastels now.

Here are some of the projects I did:

Photobucket

Cardstock: Bazzill
Papers: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Alpha: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Ribbons: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Others:
Ranger Distress Ink Pad and Twine

Photobucket

I enjoyed this one because I just layered everything up and it went very well. So much yumminess and texture. I like!

Photobucket

Cardstock: Bazzill
Papers: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Alpha: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Ribbons: American Crafts Dear Lizzy
Others: Ranger Distress Ink Pad and Martha Stewart BorderPunch

Photobucket

I have more to share in the next few days. We'll see how well it goes with pastels. This is something I am looking forward to try for the longest time and now I'm doing it!

Kisses

It's been a busy week, WOW! My work hours was extended, a lot of family gatherings, Hannah's tantrums. Can it get any worst? I know it can but for me that was a handful already.

Thank goodness for scrapping and for Hannah's wonderful kisses. Everything is worth it. Don't you just love this time of the day where you can scrap peacefully, play with your gorgeous pps, stick some embellishments on the page, and printing your photos. WOW it feels like heaven.

How about some warm sweet kisses from your little one. The tight yet like choking embraces, their I love you's, game time. Now I can say I am on cloud 9.

Material Girl Kit

Just a quick post for today since by DD kept asking me to play with her this very moment and she doesn't want to let me go. I've started this post 15mins ago and still Im here on my 2nd line of this post.

Sharing a layout that I did using the new Cosmo Cricket line Material Girl from Scrapbook Deals 4U March kit.

If you have noticed, most of my designs lately are linear or structural. I just love my ruler very much. So just to challenge myself, I tried not to be so straight. I finished this layout in less than 30 mins just adding stuff as I went along. I had so much fun with it and loved my finish layout. This was kinda collage inspired layout.

Photobucket

I have used Shimmerz Spritz to add color to the white foam alphas by American Crafts that came with the kit.

Photobucket

Thanks for dropping by! I need to play now with the master of disaster LOL
