Hi everyone! Just dropping by to say thank you for all your continuous support and kind words about my scrapbooking journey. I am always honoured every time I receive sweet comments from all of you.

It has been a busy summer and now, busy school days that keeps me away from my blog and even this hobby. For the past few weeks, I have been cleaning and rearranging furniture at home. I am also happy to announce that I finally have my own scraproom and I am no longer squeezing everything in our bedroom.

Today, I would like to announce that I was invited to be Webster Pages July Guest Designer. I am very humbled with the invitation. I never thought anybody will still be interested after being absent from this hobby. Thank you so much to Webster Pages for this opportunity!

Happy New Year and an announcement

Hi everyone! I can't believe that it's 2012 already...WOW! Happy New Year everyone!

I am an announcement to make. I am so lucky to be given the opportunity to be part of Imaginarium's Design DT team. Honestly, I was pondering about applying to Pink Paislee, Tattered Angels and Webster call but with a tight schedule with work, I narrowed my options to the most I want to be part of. And I am so excited to receive the email invite. Thank you so much Imaginarium!

The announcement is out!!!!! BasicGrey DT.....SERIOUSLY!!!!

Ever since I started scrapbooking 3 years ago I have known Basic Grey as one of the best manufacturer when it comes to scrapbooking products. I have purchased around 75% of their collections since 2009. It has always been a dream of mine to design for them but never had the chance because I noticed that their DTs were per invite and they were so good.

When they had their DT call I was in Malaysia.  I only found out about their call in the Nook forum and submitted my application 2nd to the last day. I did not have any time to prepare so I just submitted some of my favorite BasicGrey layouts even the ones I made when I just started this hobby.

Now, I am very excited to announce that I am accepted to be one of the DT members for BasicGrey 2011-2012!!!

Nothing can be better than this for me. In line with such amazing and talented ladies, with my Nook DT teammates Jessy and Marinette, and the gorgeous Iris from the Philippines, I am overwhelmed with excitement. I cant thank BG enough for this. I am looking forward to a great year ahead designing for them. Congratulations to all the New DT members!

A BIG TOOT!!!!

I am not lazy when it comes to submitting during magazine calls but I have decided not to do so  because of high shipping costs. My supposedly first (1st) published layout was for Creating Keepsakes a few years ago. I had issues with the deadline and my submission did not make it on time. It was also too expensive for me to send. Since then I decided not to submit anymore.

Thank goodness for the encouragement I received at the Nook boards so I tried one more time. I was fortunate because my first submission to Scrapbook Trends was accepted and it was published as the cover for their August issue. Happy Birthday to me!!!

I was featured at Lily Bee's Friday Faves!

I know it's kinda late but I don't have any internet connection for the past few days that is why I just saw this.

It was really cool to see my layout there. It was one of my October Nook kit layout that I did last weekend. I emphasized on both Jillibeans corrugated embellishments and Lily Bee's Rub ons.

 "Autumn Dream" layout by LG Belarmino - Materials: My Scrapbook Nook October kit and add on: Lily Bee's Catching Fall double sided patterned papers, Lily Bee Rub on, Jillibean corrugated chipboards, and Jillibean Alpha Stickers; Others: Twine and MME Banner stamp.

 

This layout was pretty easy to do. I finished this page in less than 45minutes. I learned that simplicity is beauty that is why sometimes, it is better to use less embellishments and focus on the overall composition.

Kaisercraft Design Team Announced!

It has been almost 2 years since I started scrapbooking and Kaisercraft was one of the first Manufacturers that caught my attention. I adore their paper line, embellishments and how talented their Design Team was. I have known about them when I became a blog follower of Jane Ettia Jones, who was a Design Team Member of Kaisercraft during that time.

Now, it is a dream come true to see my name on their 2010-2011 Design Team. I have never thought that I'll be part of their amazing team. I am so thankful and honored to be invited by Alison Wood, Product & Promotions Manager of Kaisercraft They have gorgeous line of products, very talented team (see Tanya Tahir's blog), and fun forum. It is so happy to see stuff like this especially during a very very busy and stressful week. I have been trying my best to fit everything with my current work schedule so that I can squeeze in everything, household chores, my baby and some scrapping time. I have so much to do but all of this are my responsibility so I am working very hard right now.

But seeing this already made everything worth it.

Aside from my #1 layout (layout from my SD4U May Kit, I have another layout on their top 10 list, my "Bloom" layout that I haven't posted here yet.


Erica, owner of YourScrapbookStash.com, sent me this My Minds Eye Quite Contrary - Little Miss Muffet line to work with. I adore MME and this made my life easier. Love the colors, the patterns and the texture of their papers. I was able to use this photos of Hannah that I never thought I would use for scrapping because it's kinda blurred. But it worked for this line!
