Thank goodness for the encouragement I received at the Nook boards so I tried one more time. I was fortunate because my first submission to Scrapbook Trends was accepted and it was published as the cover for their August issue. Happy Birthday to me!!!

A BIG TOOT!!!!
I am not lazy when it comes to submitting during magazine calls but I have decided not to do so because of high shipping costs. My supposedly first (1st) published layout was for Creating Keepsakes a few years ago. I had issues with the deadline and my submission did not make it on time. It was also too expensive for me to send. Since then I decided not to submit anymore.

Playing with Upcycle
This layout is up on Cosmo Cricket's blog today! I love the fact that this line was perfectly coordinated with these new photos of Hannah. The pink and the yellow is a gorgeous color combination. With some fun elements, I was able to achieve my desired theme which is playfulness.

Upcycle layout
Hi ladies! I hope everything is fine with you and your families. I just want to do a quick post of a layout that I did using Cosmo Cricket's new collection, UPcycle.
To create the patched strips, I used the RE:PEAT patterned paper. Using your preferred border punch, punch out several strips from a cardstock. Cover the punched areas with different patterns available from the RE:PEAT patterned paper. You'll see that the different design and colors are perfect for this patching technique

my first DT layout for CC!
Happy Monday everyone!
Just sharing my first DT layout for Cosmo Cricket. I have not received their new releases yet but they have sent me some previous collections that I loved. One of this is the Delovely line. I think I can never stop loving this collection. The bright fun colors and the gorgeous patters is simply amazing. I made this fun layout by just using the mini deck.
You can read more about this layout at Cosmo Cricket's blog here. Thank you so much to all those who left some positive comments there.
