I am not lazy when it comes to submitting during magazine calls but I have decided not to do so because of high shipping costs. My supposedly first (1st) published layout was for Creating Keepsakes a few years ago. I had issues with the deadline and my submission did not make it on time. It was also too expensive for me to send. Since then I decided not to submit anymore.
Thank goodness for the encouragement I received at the Nook boards so I tried one more time. I was fortunate because my first submission to Scrapbook Trends was accepted and it was published as the cover for their August issue. Happy Birthday to me!!!

I live outside of the US too, and must admit that high shipping costs have deterred me from submitting pages to any publications yet. I'm inspired by story though, and may give submitting a try soon (thanks!).
